Welcome to my Navy retirement ceremony photo gallery.  Retiring from the United States Navy after 20 years of service was a truly momentous and emotional event for me, and I want to share it with everyone.  Invited guests, friends and family  that were not able to attend have a chance to see what they missed, so they won't have missed out completely.  (Dad, I wish you could have been there!)

I've also included several video clips for parts of the ceremony that I hope you'll enjoy.  Be sure to watch the video of my passing- of- the- flag ceremony, (pictured above)  that still chokes me up when I watch it.  If you missed the ceremony, you should start at the beginning of the gallery and follow the sequence of the ceremony.  The entry button is at the bottom of this page.  Thanks for stopping by!

Freedom is not free... Thank a veteran! December 7, 2000 was Pearl Harbor Day, the 59th anniversary.  Part of my ceremony was set aside to pay tribute to the veterans that never had the chance to see retirement, because they paid the ultimate price for their country.   Freedom is not free!  A special thanks goes out to the Pearl Harbor Survivors that attended my retirement, pictured below.  Everyone was honored by their presence.
