Reshaping 1

In New York there are many things to do and see, but with so many people there is hardly the time or availability in which to do them. As with most cities the people are abundant and make things that small towns would see as strange, seem common. Amongst all of the different faces and fashion statements there are good individuals to be found in such a hardened place. I found that it is better to start meeting someone who has trust issues slowly as it is a better way to get somewhere. You must first know the person you are talking with in order for them to get to know you and have some trust in what you say. However some people are harder to crack than others, because they have lived for so long blocking everyone out, that they have forgotten how to let someone in. I don’t know how they can go on with their lives, but if they have something to hold on to like their job or their hobby, then I’d let them be. I just do not see how it is healthy for someone to block people out of their lives without hesitation or remorse for what could have come from it. I guess that’s just what you get in a big city; hardened faces and protective shells around the people behind them.

Reshaping 2

Throughout the years, many people have said dogs are man’s best friend, but are they right? I mean sure there are many different opinions about how a dog is loyal to its owner and will never leave you, but what about cats? There are many good qualities for both animals to have a good battle of whether or not one is better than the other for companionship. A dog is a good friend of humans when brought up with love and care as it will always be excited to see its master when they come home, always fetch the ball or stick when thrown, and want to cuddle with you as a sign of friendship. Cats on the other hand don’t play fetch, but do get excited when you come home, and cuddle next to you for warmth and friendship. Dogs can play with you on a more personal level with things like tug-of-war where as cats tend to play with other things such as a laser pointer by chasing it away or a ball rolling on the floor. These facts so far have proven that dogs are the better of the two competing for man’s best friend, but how about caring for the animal. Dogs need to get exercise almost every day and need the room to run around a lot, whereas cats are self-sustaining individuals who only need food, water, and the occasional liter change. A cat can survive indoors for a long time alone without going crazy and messing things up, unlike a dog that needs fresh air and more food, because it does not eat in proportions like cats, but eats until the bowl is empty. As for things getting ruined by both animals, dogs can do more damage than cats in less time because they are usually bigger and have a tendency to nock things over with their tails. Cats however tend to try and claw things like couches and bed covers, which can be fixed by simply getting a scratching post. All of the signs about being man’s best friend have been thrown out there, but the decision is up to whoever chooses the dog or cat.
