New York City

The drive was 7 hours to New York City
We saw many poor folks and gave them pity
Travel at night always made me scared
You couldn’t make me walk alone, even if you dared
Thugs, street vendors, and hobos with booze
All looked at me like they wanted my shoes
Walking is cheaper than taking cabs
And you’ll need the money for expensive dinner tabs

New York was scary and that’s no lie
But one thing I loved was their famous pizza pie
One place that everyone should embark
Is New York’s lovely Central Park
A city so busy you can hardly sit
But the experience was well worth it

Bipolar Cat

My sister’s crazy cat is white as snow
She likes to strut around and put on a show
Using her tongue she cleans her fur
Rubbing her belly will make her purr

But once you shake the laser pointer
A paranoid personality takes over her
Just point the laser on the ground
And watch her hunt it like a hound

Going up and down the vinyl floor
Running so fast she slides into the door
Wherever she runs, she swats with her claws
Swinging so fast, she doesn’t rest or pause
My sister’s crazy cat is cute at rest
Just don’t wind her up like the Wild West
